Number Dummy can give you all the specifics, but as the lady pointed out, the link she gave you is a good place to start. First your truck is an F100, came with a 6 cyl, was built in Chicago, Long bed, montecarlo red, built Jan 27th, 3 speed standard with a 3.70 rear end. At least that is what the site breaks it down to. Number Dummy should have further insight. Good luck, sounds like a great truck!
I like to post the sites like this so if you are interested in saving the resource you can. I started doing that for myself five years ago and now have hundreds of resource sites I can pass along!
WHERE on the truck would this be located for a 65 F100? Looked everwhere so far! Michael (fyi I am new to this site and still learning to navigate to find posts - email is mrsvictory@carolina.rr.com.
THANKS! That is awesome! Too bad I wont own the truck much longer. I am trading it to someone for some cash and good parts for my 76 F100. I already know ill be kicking myself in the butt the second it leaves my driveway. I know its going to a good home. He is going to restore it back to factory and use it to pull his 1960 boat and trailer. I thought it was a cool idea. I will pass on the information to the new owner for sure. I'M GOING TO MISS IT!
