Gunk in resivor

Gunk in resivor
Noticed my 07 150 45k miles has some kind of "gunk" in the coolant reservoir. Anyone know what's up with that? Checked my wifes 2007 Edge 25k miles and she also has the same "gunk" in it.

my 07 had it too...
pulled it out of the truck cleaned it up best i could
put cleaner in the block total flush and put in the mean green stuff and i have put 10k miles and it looks like the day i put it in.
its up to you what you want to do. its a bitch to flush the whole block.
