1. WD40 is a joke.

2. Liquid Wrench is almost a joke.

3. PB Blaster is ok, but it really stinks (smells bad).

4. Sili-Kroil is really good, but expensive at $10-$12 per 10oz can, and not as easy to find except at industrial or welding supply houses.

5. Justic Brother JB/80 is really, really, REALLY good, but I haven't been able to find a price on it. O'Reilly's may carry it since they do carry some JB products. Easily twice as good as either WD40 or PB Blaster.

6. Schaeffer's Penetro 90 is absolutely the best I've seen anywhere, and is almost as INexpensive as WD40 or PB Blaster, but it is exceptionally hard to find unless you either know a rep or have a retail location close by. One can outlasts WD40, PB Blaster, and Liquid Wrench by a factor of 10x. (I'm NOT advertising... just sharing what I've found to be true after testing all of these products head-to-head against one another.

Not true, WD has plenty of good uses. It is exceptionally good at removing tree and pine sap not to mention other crap like bug guts and decal adhesive from paint without damage. It will also smoke a wasp/hornet nest in short order.

2. Liquid Wrench is almost a joke.
No argument here.

3. PB Blaster is ok, but it really stinks (smells bad).
I have had very good luck with PB. When it doesn't get it done a little heat assist works every time for me.

No experience with this.

We would never think you would advertise for Schaeffers now would we Pete?
Bottom line, my experience is that for the real tough stuff I put the propane to it with the penetrating oil.

Caliper Pins

I just got a reman caliper from PepBoys. It came with new bolts, pins, boots, springs, etc. So did the one from AutoZone that I looked at. Neither come with the bracket that holds the pads. You can buy the bracket separately. I also picked up a bottle of the silicone brake caliper grease. I guess it is worth the money.

I'll go w/ tags6 on this,

My bud has a gasser '03 350, watched him do brakes other day top pin was locked up, Pb Blasted it a few times, vised the carrier and w/ big channel locks worked the pin by trying to spin it, once you get it to spin you got something, keep blasting and spin/working it out, she came.

He was kindda cheap about it though and just soft wired the rust off, he reused it, so maybe that was being to cheap I dont know, I'd welcome thought's.
I know we are talking a cheap part so I guess I'm privy to guys who have also done that, Cheers!
