Sorry for the hijack Jason, but am I to understand that if I do the procedure described earlier in this thread that I can not only read my own DTC's but I can also do a digital tachometer and other things?????

Well, the DTC's that I got weren't right, but the tach and voltage and stuff like that is pretty neat.
Well, FWIW I got home and tested out this trick on the way to my sons baseball game and I also had the 9352 DTC, but I don't have any lights on, so it must not be anything serious. I need to find somewhere that tells me what all the other things are that this feature is telling me. Anybody know where to find that info?
I have a good spare ICP sensor. If you want to try it just PM me.
Another generous offer, nice of yaa Robin.. It was nice to have ya up Jason, after you said you were embarking on up I thought, maybe I should come on down your house with the truck acting up and all but it worked out. Its not a scan gauge but it works and I'm glad I hung onto it. Glad to help, I wouldn't have it any other way..

I'm sure theres something out there Bob but with my rocket sience mind I was trying to pick things apart, oil temps, coolant temps were easy, it was all those others like cylinder test and numbers and letters I was trying to figure out with all the info thats supplied here, its tough.
Some times when you clear codes with a aftermarket scanner the codes don't totally clear .so if you want to clear them the easy way disconect the battery cables and since we have (2) make sure you do both and then hold the pos and the neg together for about 30 sec. and that clears the computer and then you can go from there to see what comes back

Just an update, lent my SC code reader to Jason, all is well and it just came by way of Fed-Ex, you could have held onto it longer just to make sure nothing came back but I appreciate the fast ship back, whats mine is yours dude.
