I have already purchased a color matched, former visor unit for my 04 F250 cc/diesel. Looking for ideas on locations and power source. All I really need is 12V and ground, but want to put it in an easy to reach area that won't require me to hack the truck up to much. Also, if coincidentally anyone has the pinout/wiring information for the modules, that would be totally cool too!

are you doing the visor with the cab lights? I was going to do that in the near future, please let me know how it went and post some pictures.

I do not know, I am sorry I can't help, but search for it, there are some diagrams out there

No cab lights on my SD! My main options are:
- in visor
- in between visors on roof
- in front of dome lights
- dash somewhere

for visors or between I have to run a wire from either the dome or dash area (unless cab light harness already there?). I'd prefer not to do that. If right next to the dome, it's easier, but then I have to reach back to hit the buttons (not the most convenient). On dash, not so sure where would be good. I do have a mounting bracket leftover from someone's cb I could just mount it too.....
