Backup camera fuzzy when cold

Backup camera fuzzy when cold
Not really a FORD question per se, but I bought one off those license plate mounted VR3 aftermarket wireless backup cameras for hitching up the boat in the morning when I am alone.
Similar to this:

Worked ok, but the picture quality was a bit fuzzy.
Then after a few cold morning uses, I parked the truck in the sun before hitching, and man what a beautiful, clear color picture! It appears that this thing works better warm.
Anyone experience this & gotta fix besides taking the monitor to bed and warming it up? :-)
Unfortunately when I need to use it, its morning and usually cold.
