Anyone know the best place to pickup some replacement glass for my mirrors? I just picked up some of the stock extendable mirrors to replace my sport mirrors, and need the big piece of glass for the drivers side, and the small lower piece of glass for the passenger side.
Burco makes real glass replacement mirrors both the little convex spotter mirror and the main glass. You will need PN 2318 (Pass spotter), and PN 2729. Drivers side is $19.99 USD, and the pass spotter is $91 USD. I am pretty sure the Ford dealer sells the lower spotter for $50 USD with backing plate, so I would get the dealer spotter mirror, and then the drivers side Burco glass. Hubscapsplus.com sells the glass.
I am NOT a dealer, but have had good luck with their products in the past. They are the only ones who make the convex mirror to my knowledge besides Schefenacker (Ford's supplier).

WOW! Cheap main glass, but why so much for the little spotter? (Thanks for all the info!)
The one without the backing plate has adhesive mounting tabs. So the one without the backing plate is installed by breaking the old glass off and cleaning, then applying the adhesive tabs, and placing the mirror on. The backing plate is the black plastic piece behind the glass...

Ahh, so I have the plastic backing already... Just need to glue the new glass on. Thanks!
