I have a 65 Ranger shortbed, 352 motor, has dual exhaust, right bank smokes constantly about a minute or two after start up and doesn't stop, driving or idiling. PCV has strong suction. I'm thinking rings or valve seals or possibly plugged oil return holes, I will do a compression test today for grins just to see where I stand there. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I need to figure out how to upload pics on this fourm so I can share, truck is very nice.

You can do a dry and wet compression check. You can also pull the valve cover to look at the troublesome rear drain back hole for oil and poke around in it.
I did a compression test, not wet though, 150psi on all cylinders on left side, 115-135 on right side, no oily deposits on plugs, little carbon on the weak ones. will redo compression test and try it wet and see if the pressure comes up at all

Reason: forgot the end part
time to take it apart and see what happened. check the valve seats though many of these old engines hav e never had hardened valve seats installed and therefore dont seat well after running unleaded gas in them. mine looked like swiss cheese! cylinder scoring or rings could have a problem. if you rebuild this engine look into the oil system modifications they are relatively simple and are a great help to an fe engine as they are not made for over 5400 rpm stock. just my two cents. good luck!
