Wow, you had some fun on the return trip....
I did that once on a trip to Miami, rolled in late at night on the top edge of "E", couldn't find any diesel fuel in Miami, drove around for nearly an hour and half before finally pulling over a Miami PD, to get directions to find fuel, took a 1/2 gallon more than the tanks capacity...

but we discovered the ape cave up by Mt. St. Hellens this weekend
Cool ****!!! I didn't expect that much was left in the state parks that it would actualy be a chalenge to take the whole family through.

Morning all. So much excitement just reading about everyones travels. Glad there was nothing more serious than an elevated heart rate. (sure that was enough) It seems that we're like kids in a candy store when we get together, few or no pics, excesive(some would say) talk, and excitement. I sure hope we can get a GTG going. I've met a dozen or so FTE members so far, and there isn't ONE that isn't welcome in my home, and that I wouldn't bend over backwards to help!
At 62 years young, I've never met a more varied group of people that got along with each other than the peeps on FTE. It's got to be a Ford thang......

me too don and steve. i think its a ford thing. and i think its the people more than anything else.its one big family. but we all try to help each other out on somethings.
out of the oregon chapter i've met allen d and chris from seaside before. that was cool.

I KNOW it's a Ford thing! In my 14 years online doing everything from IRC on the undernets to the old geocities days I have never met such a diverse and downright nice group of people as I have on FTE.
