Good morning all, might be a decent day today. Did some work on the Ford this week, had to repair the radiator. Since I've gotten it, it's had the top tank leaking because of a bad solder joint. I took it to Burns and had Mike at A-1 Radiator and Machine fix it up. For the first time I let my truck warm up and didn't worry about overheating or loosing coolant. One step closer to driving it on the road, I've been driving up and down my drive way until it get it registered and put new tires on it.
Nope. That project is next on the list. I've been strengthening the frame on the IH truck getting ready to mount the log loader. I've got to work on a skidder today. Waiting on 8-1" bolts to bolt the loader to the frame. The 8 bolts cost $384!
When you figure the loader weighs 10,000 lbs, can reach out 30' and pick up a 10,000 lb log you better have good bolts! Not to mention the operator sits ON TOP of the loader about 10' off the ground..................
