Hi guys. It's been a while since I've posted. Life has been a bit crazy lately and many projects were put on hold, including the van. Anyway I have a broken terminal end on one of my glow plugs. The plastic turned to powder and the brass-like terminal came apart in a bazillion tiny green particles. Ford wanted around 240 clams for a new harness and International around 140 but according to the parts guy had to be modified to work, both options are out of the budget for now.
So I got to thinking and remembered that military humvees use bullet type gp's. So after some searching, I came across these: 8338564 - Terminal Assy, Glow Plug | Kascar Real4WD.com your HMMWV® parts Superstore!
Military quality, seperate dust boot, designed for 24 volts, cheap $$$, should work right?? I know i could just use a standard parts store bullet connector but this just seems to look cleaner and will probably last longer. You know, more purpose built. Anyone used these before??
