new Grilles

I just wanted to know if anybody has ever had these grilles on thier truck. I wanted to see if the quality was any good and if there was any problems installing them. Any feedback would be great thanks guys.

No not yet I haven't had a chance to call my guy. I have an instore credit to use up so I'm hoping this isn't more then a couple hundred bucks. I think it is wishful thinking but I hope the bumper grill comes with it too. I will post up the price he gives me, it will be in CND dollars.

That looks good to me plus it has a warranty. A sister of mine recently purchased running boards with a Lund brand. It is a reliable brand as what many attested.

The tabs that hold the grill surround to the the honeycomb grill do not look like there pictures they are much harder to bend then they let on and there is a good chance you break off a few of them.

So there is no cutting, but there will be some breaking. ha ha I want to see if the store I'm going to order these from have any I can look at. I just don't want it to look cheezy. With this kind that keeps the ford logo, do you even have to take the honeycomb grill off or does it just go infront of it?

Just by the way it sits in the surround, It looks to me like a bolt over grille. I have seen some that look great. I have seen some that do not. That one looks like you won't be able to see behind it. Thats what you want to happen. Some of the bolt over grilles are more open and you can see through them. In turn you can see the stock grille.

Ya I don't want a crappy grill, but it would look bad if you could see alot of the stock grill. Is there a danger of cutting too much air off to the engine with a grill that has few holes?

I wonder when they say 40 to 50 percent more bars, does that reduce cooling air to the radiator and engine???

So after waiting for 8 weeks it finally got here. I ended up picking up the Liquid 3D Solid Billet Grill by Putco. It was a little on the expensive side, but I think it looks killer. The installation was pretty basic. I'm not to happy with the wingnuts, I might change that in the future. So here is a little before and after.

Ok for some reason the site won't let me post the pictures. I will have to wait to show it off.
