In general the sales department of dealerships haven't made money in years. An automobile dealership is an incredibly expensive business to operate.
I used to deliver gasoline for Lincoln Oil. Lincoln is owned by a company in Berlin, CT that also owns Food Bag the chain. All the gasoline and diesel is sold as a lost liter and that is a LOT of fuel considering they have over 50 stores in five states, 43 in CT alone. The store is where they make the money. The company also owns New Britain Candy which supplies the stores with junk food, junk, and cigarettes( one of the largest cigarette wholesalers in the state).
justin - my friend has a family run service station and he claims they often will lose money on a gas sale. anything under $50 paid for with credit card was a loss for them. tires, batteries, and alignments are the cash cow for them.
i hope to finish my transmission tomorrow after work, then i think i am going to put my truck together tuesday. i hope it goes much smoother than the removal did. anti-sieze will be my friend!

A friend of mine is off Cook Hill.
When I go there I go up 79 to 68 to Westbrook Lobster and take a left and the go up a road that goes past Cook Hill school.
Was that your moms mower or your dads.
Is it still the old Bolens?
Andy were you anywhere near Blue hills Rd? It's right off cook hill. Blue hills orchard is there and that's where I work in the fall and I may have a bit of work there this week not entirely sure just yet.
For all you people wondering the orchard came first. It used to be known as School house road but people kept getting confused so they petitioned the town and got it changed to blue hills road.
