Transplants
Hope everything works out with your child. I have a friend that had a liver transplant, and he is better than ever today.
As for the woman that is serving the life sentence that needs the transplant. Not to sound like they shouldn't get treatment, but save the taxpayers the money for the transplant and the money to keep her alive and give it to someone else that is going to do something usefull with their life. I would be really pissed if a relative or friend didn't get a transplant because a convict that will spend the rest of their life in jail got it over them.
