I have never bought a tailgate from them but I have purchased many things over the years for several different trucks. I have always been happy with the product and even more happy with the price!

I forget which board this was on, but someone bought a tailgate for their pre-'87 truck and wasn't very happy with it. It closed and everything, but the body lines were off and it didn't match the bed corners very well. There were pics to clarify it.
Maybe he got a dud or something, but try looking on craigslist, sometimes deals pop up.

LMC repro tail gate
They are, in a word, junk. I have re-welded the popped spot welds, but the "steel" is so light that in has bowed significantly in the middle around the handle. Used ugly stock would be better.
Not worth it, in my opinion.
