I bought a pair of taillight lenses from LMC for my 64 styleside. My original taillight lenses have a slight curve to them (from top to bottom). The reproductions are completely flat, and don't sit flat against the taillight assembly. Are they supposed to be curved, or are my originals warped? If they're supposed to be curved, does anyone make a reproduction that is correct?


I also bought taillight lens gaskets from LMC. They are very flimsy and won't stay in place. Does anyone make a better one?

I tried to insert images, but I couldn't get it to work today.

These lenses are rectangular and as flat as Kansas.

Hi Tim,

Since you already have the parts, can you modify them to work for you adequately - like maybe grind on the backside of the lens a bit to give them a slight curve?

Regarding the lens gaskets, how about a dab of silicone to hold them fast?

Just sayin'........
