Wheel Opening Molding

I've been searching for a nice set of OEM wheel well opening molding. Does anyone know where I can get them besides EBay? I'm actually hoping that one of our members has a set in nice shape. Here's another question. Are all the aftermarket reproduction moldings the same ill fitting and flimsy pieces like the ones I got from LMC? I've seen some with the black insert. Are they any better or just the same part with the added insert?

Please, when asking questions, list ALL the pertinent info.

What year is the truck, what series, what model? Is it a Regular, Super or Crew Cab?

Your "About Me" profile says 2002 Ranger, which I assume is not what you want these mouldings for.

Last I check ford does not offer the 92-97 F-series wheel well moldings anymore
And when they did they were $125-150 each

I believe that the wheel well molding is the same on all these trucks. I have my truck listed in my signature, so I don't have always list the details. Yeah, I don't think Ford has them anymore, and those prices are kinda nuts. I'd be happy with good used ones, which I thought would be easier to find.

I pulled mine off, but 1) don't think they would be good enough & 2) no idea what to charge for them if they were wanted & I'd sell.

Good luck.

I see your signature in this post, but it's not in post #1.

1994 before production date 11/93, the wheel opening mouldings do not have the black insert. From 11/93, the mouldings have the black insert.

Which type do you want?

Maybe he used the mobile version in his first post. I noticed that when I post from my phone the Sig will not show up. But it will when I post from my pc.

I'm on my phone now, so that's why you can't see my sig

I have a set of 4 that I have no use for , only problem is that the passenger front one does not have the black plastic piece, as it is older, the other 3 all have it. They are in decent used shape, if interested message me

I am looking for a set of the moldings with the black insert.

I may be interested in your used set, and will send you a message.

I found out that the moldings with the black insert from LMC are just the same as the bare ones, so they're no better.

I think that may be the case as to why the signature doesn't always show up.

I used to have a Ranger, but I forgot to change that info. Just fixed it.

I tried to send you a message, but got an error message saying your not able to receive messages.

How much are you asking for the moldings? I'm interested as long as they're straight and not badly scratched up.
