ATS housing install

when installing that housing is there any adjustments that need to be made to the rod?

I think so, but since I have van turbo with no wastegate, it was just a quick bolt-on mod. You won't make it surge, so tighten it down good & snug.

Not unless you need to adjust it due to performance issues. I didn't touch the wastegate on my wife's when I installed her ATS housing.

10/4 i wasnt sure cause the housing looks a little thicker than the stock one

I didn't adjust mine either. It didn't seem to affect performance at all, built the same amount of boost as before the install with no surge.

I don't think so. Unless you have a WW on as well. Mine isn't obnoxious at all with the stock late wheel.

As Joe said, probably not. With a 6637 filter and the ATS housing, mine has a nice whistle to it, not overly obnoxious IMO. One thing though, once you get over 20psi, she really sings. My brother did make a comment one day about it, asked if it bothered me. I said "No, I must be used to it, hardly notice it anymore"
