My 95 f250 has a Dana 60 from a 97 f350. I put warn premium hubs in and they appear to work but I have a question about a part I put back on.
The picture is below where I put a red square around the part in question. The 1 end has a 90 degree bend in it which I put in kind of coaxed it into a keyed part then it bent around. What does it do?
Also. With the hubs locked, the 4x4 works fine but when I take it OUT of 4x4 the front hubs seem to stay locked until I reverse - like with auto hubs.
my understanding was that you needed a new spindle locknut kit for it. then you will just have the spindle locknut, the hublock assembly, locking ring, and the front cover part...

Thanks for the reply. I wish I could find an good tutorial for my exact application. I think that makes sense what you are saying but the pictured doesn't show the spindle lock nut kit. Unless that's further in.
the picture that you have doesnt show the spindle lock nut kit since that is an exploded diagram of a 4wd, with auto hubs. if you look up one with the manual hubs then you will see what i am talking about when comparing the two.
