distributor and plug wires

95 F-150 5.0

I just put in a new distributor; does anyone know the correct ignition timing?

Also, I ordered a set of Ford Racing wires and they seem too long. They are all marked with the correct cylinder but they are about 3 inches longer than the previous wires(O'Reilly wires) why are they so much longer?

Thanks for the help!!

Yeap 10 deg BTDC with the spout out , the wires may be longer so they fit all the SBF & taller valve covers.....Lew
