There is a thread in this section about the front grills. Go back maybe a month and you might find it.
The '72 grill inserts have 6 holes and can be swaped for the 71 inserts with like 12 holes.
I think the thread talked about the 70 grill is slightly differant. The 67-69 grills are one piece with no seperate inserts like the 70-72.
Also note that the 67 has a lot of interior parts that are only 67. Kind of like one off's for the 67 model year. The heater ***** under the radio and the interior door leaver (entire door shell actualy - someone please confirm this) are 67 only parts.
67 unique parts (that I know of): heater controls and radio, door guts, door panels, flywindow handles, firewall is slightly different (requiring a different brake booster), clutch and/or brake brackets and maybe even the 'legs' (dunno what you call them), no marker lights on fenders, hood has a slightly different profile inside at the center bracing, speedo cluster (how it's wired rather than printed circuit), side moulding is narrower than later years.
That's all I can think of.
Nice looking truck, btw. Wonder what the reserve price is...
Strongbad i'm pretty sure that it will fit. I'll look at some of my papers of a paint and body insurance quotes that gives the grills, time listings for you today and get back to you.
They may look the same, but looks can be deceiving.
The 1970 grille frame (and grille inserts) are one year only. The 1971/72 grille frame is different. 1971 grille inserts are slightly different than 1972.
1970 grille inserts are the same right/left. The '70 grille frame is made specifically for these inserts. 1971/72 inserts are right/left specific.
1970/72: The parking lamps are located on the stone shield. 1967/69: The parking lamps are located within the grille.
Not only are the parking lamps different, but...so is the wiring. The headlamp doors are different, the buckets are different.
1967/72 F100/350: The fenders are the same, the hood is the same and also fits F500/750's.
The 1967 door shells are 1967 only. The glass, weatherstrips, hinges, outside door handles, vent window division bars, door lock cylinders (only-not the link rods) are the same 1967/72...EVERYTHING else is 1967 only.
1967: You push the inside door handles forward to lock the doors. 1968/72's have (mandated by the NHTSA) door lock *****.
In addition, 1967 brake and clutch pedals, ignition switch, brake differential proportioning valves, the low brake warning light switch are also 1967 only.

The grille does just bolt on, but going to the 70-72 style you need to add the valance panel or make other arrangements for the marker lights as they are not part of the grille. Not all the bolt holes are the same, but enough are there that it's well secured.
70 may use a different shell and inserts, but the differences from the 67-69 style are just the same so refitting it is the same.
The 67-only mirror can be refitted into the 68-72 trucks without a whole lot of trouble, but you should use the 67 visors too since they have the smaller cutout.
