Hey guys this is my first post on here, so go easy lol.

I have a 95 F-150 Extended cab and i was curious as to which sound deadener/insulator to get and how much to get to cover the entire inside (floor, doors, pillars, and top if possible) lets just say that money is not an issue considering Im looking for quality and not cost.

Also, i have a ridiculously annoying rattle that i cant find the source of.... any ideas?

Again, this is my first post, give me some time to get used to this site and ill be good as gold! Any questions about my truck please feel free to ask! Im a pretty freakin proud owner!

the oem style kits in my opinion do not perform that well.

Dynamat is an exceptional product its just way to expensive...I would recomend a company called ram mat

They make really good stuff plus Rick is a great guy to work with. If you email him and tell him what you want to do he will give you a fairly precise estimate and price.

look on his site. The ram mat is a deadner, it turns vibrations/road noise into low level heat and adds mass to the panel. This will work as an insulator as well.

He has another product that is called ensolite that will ad more insulation and sound absorbtion.

I think that rick can explain it a bit better. I have alot of experience with car audio but I just got home from a 3rd shift job so my brains in zombie mode.

Also, this rattling sound im hearing sounds like its coming from my passenger side, maybe around the glove box? not entirely sure.. any ideas on what this might be?

 

the rattle is more than likely a broken dash mount at the bottom right of the dash. Happens to almost all of out trucks from 92-96 and will make the dash rattle and drive you crazy. not a hard fix at all though.
