I voted Dashdaq. But would add, it doesn't have to be one or the other. For EGT for example, it's easiest to just go with an analog. Same for any other parameter that is not part of the OBD system. But for all the things that are available on the bus, it's hard to beat digital, plus alarms, etc. Why not do both?
(I don't have any, and somehow, I manage to limp along)
My vote is the Dashdaq. It is amazing how many things that thing can tell you. I had a little bit of a problem getting all the adapters/converters to get the EGT, that is my only complaint. I like it so much i am at some point sell my SCT and my Edge (same as insight) and get another Spartan.
U can but if u don't hav a computer with windows xp u can't set the alarm or customize it, windows vista does not work with the edge insight
From what I read on the edge insight that is correct. The Insight will not work with the Windows 64 bit. or Mac. Windows 32 bit and other windows will work.
RR kit I did myself, but the tranny rebuild kit was done by the ford tranny guy that does work on the side. Casserly had told me that he was really good at the job.

That's about as much tractor pulling I do. That little attachment I welded is probably the most handies thing that I have ever thrown together. It really helps moving the trailers with the tractor, when you just need to move them around the property.
