Newbie with some basic maintenance ?'s
Just got my 08 6.4 dually this past week, love it.....How often do you change the fuel filter? What size sockets do I need for the oil filter and fuel filter?

Do you have the owners manual with the truck? Should have the maintance schedule in the diesel supplement. If not you can get it online.
Fuel and oil filters are 36MM. I found mine at Sears. Always use the motorcraft not aftermarket for these filters.
Use the severe maint schedule, change your oil at 5K and filters at 10K.

'nuff said. Most of us follow the severe maintenance schedule to avoid fuel injection/system problems and also the engine oil becoming saturated with diesel.
Make sure you use the correct oil, CJ-4 I believe.
Keep a consistent eye on the bottom corners of your coolant radiator. They tend to fail after 30-50K miles. Slow drips on the top of the frame rails can be seen. It does not warn you if you are low on coolant so you have to stay on top of this.
