Is it worth the swap? What are your plans for your truck? Do you live in an area that might need traction to both wheels at times? Snow or mud or soft dirt/gravel.

 

Tru-Trac was a very popular mod in the Titan community. I never did it, but those that did say it was the best money they ever spent. Some went with Detroit, and regretted it saying there was too much of a slip/lag before it locked up and when it did it slammed them sideways.

 

A Truetrac is a great upgrade for a Super Duty as well. The oem LS is a POS. Very few even work brand new.

I put a Truetrac in the rear of my 06 super duty and a E-locker in the front. This is the perfect combo for a Super Duty. I wish my 2016 had a Truetrac in the rear instead of the oem e-locker. The Truetrac always works, is completely silent, and yet it locks up really well when one tire starts spinning faster than the other. It also handles great on the street and really helps when having to pull onto a highspeed road in a hurry - in places where you wouldnt want to activate the E-locker.
