Tuning Chip

I have a 2003 7.3L with 91,000 miles. I have installed the 6637, and replaced the stock muffler with a straight through galsspac. The next step will be exhaust, and then gauges. (I'm keeping my eyes out for deals on both). I was given a chip from a friend who ordered it for his 1999 7.3L and never installed it. Where can I send it to be tuned when I get ready to install? And what set up would you recommend for the chip? Do you suggest 3 different mods (one for stock, one for towing and one for highway economy) or something else? Or does that last question even make sense?

Thanks for all your patience and help.

We need to know what kind of chip it is before we can suggest what to do with it. Is it a TS chip? Does it have a **** that attaches to the chip?

It does not have any readily identifiable markers on it. On one side it has the following:

IJKD Sullins
EZC15DRAN-S253

Hope that helps

Doesn't look like it have a cable or switcher hooked to it, just looks like a normal computer component. I'll get a camera later and take some pictures of it. Maybe you can tell then.

F350-6, that looks like it, only without the cable attached. Only the chip.

Any thoughts on where I can send this to get it ready for my 2003? Or what else do I need to do?

If you've only got a chip with no switch, you're probably better off just starting over with something new. Without seeing it, I don't know if a switch could be added. You're only going to be able to add one tune with a chip like that, and if it's not a true TS chip, the tuner guys may have problems trying to re-burn it.

I'd save your money for a real chip with a switch.

Just an FYI for anyone that reads this.....

The "sullins" number here is ONLY A PART NUMBER FOR THE CONNECTOR THAT FITS OVER THE J3 CONTACTS.
