Problem instaling amp power steps

Hey all. Im instaling the amp power steps. Did it backwards so to speak. lol Meaning i went ahead and wired it all up and now doing the brackets. My problem is the one motor hits the rear frame brace on the drivers side and on the passenger side it hits the Ac lines. Got a sugestion of putting the motor on the front of the truck. Tried it and it still hits the Ac line. Thanks in advance for the help.

When I installed my powersteps, I disconnected the bracket that holds the line and was able to move the line up, after that I was able to bend the AC line very gingerly. I was concerned but not too much, 6 months later, still no issue.
