think there talking some thing different. bout trucks have a inlet and outlet , from what i found today the are interchangeable. on is just a later design in same year

Shes alive!
Still have a few bugs. hesitates at take off for just 2 seconds. then at about %50 throttle it wants to fall on its face. Some times you can power though it. Any thoughts?

Also still have one somg hose don't know what to do with it. comes from the engine (not the pump) up to the finder, pumps air.

If i put it down in 2nd can power though the stall.

Temp gauge is up and down.
Check engine light has come on but went right back off.

Did you figure out where that other hose goes? i'm going to try to find a smog hose routing in a few minutes.
My guess about the temp guage is maybe the coolant hasn't circulated all through out the engine yet.
The stalling thing, I'm worried about. maybe vacuum lines not all connected and/or maybe it's that smog hose.

I posted this question on www.fixya.com and one reply was to use the hose assembly off the old engine if possible.
I guess that means take everything associated with the hose off the old engine and replace that 2 hose assembly.

I have a 1993 Ford F-250 with the 5.8 liter - FixYa
