you need to get your self a volt meter and check your voltage , also check yyour turn signal switch, wiggle it , you might need a new switch , also check Flasher its about 6 bucks anyway try that out .. should fix it ...

Pull the light assembly out, you should find the ground or the remains of it behind the light assembly..

Be sure to check the socket also, look for rust/corrosion, sometimes the ground gets pulled out..

Don't forget to check the bulbs just to be sure- they are dual element bulbs and if one element is burned out, that could be part of the problem.

Glad to hear you found the problem....

Do what ever you can to waterproof the splices, if water can get in there it is just a matter of until it will give trouble..

Yea what he said, solder the connections and then use heat type shrink tubing to protect it after doing so. That really helps keep the water and water mixed with road salt (if you live in the salt belt) from migrating up under the casing on the wires, once that starts its a mess.

You do that you'll never have a problem with it again, black tape is a temporary repair anyway you slice it. (no pun intended!)

I prefer heat shrink with the glue stuff inside, after soldering.. Every little bit helps...
