Popped on after I went through some BIG puddles, like 2 feet of water at some points, replaced the sensor on the water pump. My temperature gauge has either never worked or the truck just perpetually runs insanely cold, but the engine temp. like just popped on, it flickers sometimes and after a long time of waiting it goes away when it's first started, but flickers back on after a couple minutes.
I'm guessing there's another sensor that I'm missing, any ideas?

Is it easily seen from the top of the engine/under the hood 'cause I can't seem to find it. I wasn't looking too hard, but is it down in there, or what. Easier access from where? And yes I realize this is a stupid, lazy question, but I don't care.
