ARE "Z" series cap ordered

My wife finally ordered out shell for the truck yesterday. It won't be in for about 4 weeks says the dealer but it is being paint matched and there aren't many pre-made for these new trucks yet, so I understand it can take some time.
We paid 2,425 bucks all said and done. We got the optional flip down front window (to clean the whole back truck window) and the dome light. This includes installation too. Was wondering what everyone else was paying for comparable shells (or canopies as they are referred to in the northwest).

I got the same one you have, on a short bed 09, with the fold down window, and a Bed Rug liner for $2100. here in Bend Or. I would cancel order and price other ARE dealers.
$2425 is full retail + plus.

Remember we have much higher sales tax here in WA than in OR... I think 9%? Also, I have the 6.5 bed (longer SCREW bed). I think you meant you have the extra short bed? If so, maybe some of my extra cost was because of the extra material in the extra foot of bed.

I bet they are the same cost, or really close, the materials to make it a foot longer are almost nothing. If you want I will give you the dealer name here in Bend and you can call him. I believe it is J & R Canopy and truck acc. 800 244 0213.
There is no sales tax here. it would be worth the drive alone.
