Passenger Window Switch

I've got an 04 SCREW F150 lariat and I'm not able to roll down the passenger window from the driver's control, but I am able to roll it up. I was wondering if just that small switch can be replaced instead of the whole master control. Or if I can fix that switch that would be even better..

You'll have to replace the whole master control. I had to on my 06. The new switch assembly for the driver side ran about $50 from the dealer.

The parts guy I deal with said that they stock them because there have been a lot of them going bad. He and I both agree that it's a poor design and/or quality part. It doesn't help that every time you open the door in winter with snow on the truck that it always falls on the seat and arm rest and every time you have to open the window in rainy weather the switches get wet.

I had took my 07 XLT in last year because my driverside window had the same issue. I got it fixed under warrenty. The dealer told me it is "a known problem"

I wish I could just take mine in and have it fixed under warranty....does anyone know of any good vendors on here for OEM parts at the lowest prices?

The Ford PArts Guys is very good. Luckily it was my front passenger switch that went bad on my 04. Must have been from lack of use, since I've probably only had someone in that seat a half dozen times or so.
