Always something...... i went to roll the windows down and the passenger side decied it dident want to go down. First i rolled down my driver window while sitting in the driver seat using the driver window control. Went to roll the passenger side down using the driver window control and nothing. I hit a red light leaned over and rolled the passenger window down using the passenger window control. Im shure its in the driver side switch but what should i replace?????
I had the same issue, but mine was nothing more then a loose connecter in the plug housing.. Use a meter probe and push up on all of the connectors while checking the plug.
Ok so i pushed in the wires to the plug part and the switch on my side started working again. Bout two days after i pushed them in it stoped. So i pushed them in again and got bout a day out of it. So my cousin sittin in the passenger seat rolled it down and went to roll it back up as i was explaining the prolbem i been having with the switch on my side and damn if the passanger side wouldent roll the window up. So we pushed the wires up in the passenger switch and got it to roll up. So what now????? I cant be having a window that wont roll up. Any new suggestions
Yea i appericate the tip. I need to do something. I guess my concern was 1st the driver side switch for the passenger window was acting up. Now that one and the passenger side switch are acting up. Really wierd that just those tow on that one window. Wondering if the motor might be going out????
ok i have tried everything with the window switch.... pushing the wires in on the driver side controll switch and the passenger side switch aswell. im still having the same prolbem. the window will not do anything with the at all with the driver side switch it wont roll up or down. the passenger side switch will roll it down but not roll it up. its about half way down now because my girlfriend started to roll it down. we got rain comming tomm and i got to get it up. what to do?????
ok i just found a thread that told me i could take out the motor and push up the window. so i went out and took the motor out and slid up the window. in the same thread it told you how to take tho motor appart and clean the brushes. i took the motor appart cleaned the entire motor put it all back together. plugged it in and i still have the same prolbem. it will roll down but will not roll up with the passenger side switch. the switch on the driver side will not do anything for the passenger side window. im wondering if i shoul get a new motor? or is ther something else going on. Because like i said...... using the driver side switch to roll the passenger side window up or down dose nothing at all. the passenger side switch will roll the window down but not up.
i had the same problem with my passenger window. what i did is i slaved in the back passenger window switch to the front and that fixed the problem. i left the bad switch in the rear because i havent got around to geting a new switch. the back window is now the dead one but that is better than the front. hope this helps...

1.same prolbem meaning the window would roll down but not up using the passenger side control switch?
2. what about the switch on the driver side for the passenger window? mind dose nothing. did you have the same prolbem? if so when you swapped switches did the driver side begin to work again?
It started out intermittently and it liked to roll down more then up and then one day it quit working all together. I ripped the door apart thinking it was a motor and on a hail marry I swapped them and it fixed it. the driver side master worked and the passenger worked. the driverside still won't roll down the now dead back passenger. swapping switches is easy so I would hive that a try. let me know...
