Climate Control question

I was just wondering if everyone else's Ex is the same as mine. I have the digital climate control in my Ex and when I turn the temperature down to the low end, it jumps from 19C (66F) to 16C (61). It is super annoying because what I would like is a temperature somewhere inbetween those two, most of the time.

Does everyone else's do this? If so, I wonder if there is a way to make it go through each increment from 19C to 16C...

cheers,

Every Ford I've had jumps down that last 5 degrees...kinda strange. Cars, trucks, SUVs - they've all done it the same way. I think it does it on the high end as well - jumps from 85* - 90* with no increments.

That's a shame. I wish I was more of an electronics genius to figure out how to make it not make the jumps.

Can I retrofit the regular dial kind into my truck or is that a no go because of the steering wheel controls for heat and fan etc?
