It's under the turn off air bags section.

not sure if this is a joke or not but i figured it would be like an aftermarket stereo with a dvd player in it. You are supposed to hook it up to your emergency brake, but all you have to do is put it on a toggle switch that is grounded and away you go.

Is there anyway to do this besides paying $240 for the LockPick?

I hope not. It's a federal law for a reason.

My mistake. It's not federal it varies by state.

Thanks. Looks like my state only has the no video rule. And, the penalty is just a requirement that you remove the ability once you're told to. Does anyone know if there is another way besides paying mucho bucks for LockPick?

According to the manufacturer (Clarion), there isn't.

Even if it is not a law where you live yet, it is STUPID if you do this... Yeah, I'm calling you stupid if you try to do this... I hope you get pulled over quick before you kill someone else. "But I'm safe, it won't happen to me!" BS! YOU ARE STUPID!

Stephen: Hope you have better day. Sounds like you must live in anger, if you take timem to lash out at people in your own personal judgment of them. Hope you find something productive to do. And, no, I won't reply to a further post from you. Best wishes.

I was having a great day until some idiot started talking about endangering others on the road by wanting to use thier navigation system which is locked out during driving for a very good reason by the manufacturer. So by all means, don't reply to any of my posts as I deal with ignorant, stupid and dangerous people all day over here in Iraq. I don't need or want to deal with another one now.
This is for all the halfway intelligent people who will read this... If you use your nav while driving or text while driving you are a moron and should be arrested for attempted manslaughter. If you were considering "unlocking" your sytem, I would hope you think about the people on the road that you WILL put at risk and reconsider.
