Yesterday we made the 4 1/2 hour drive down to Oklahoma to pick up the truck. We got down there with no suprises and the truck looked great and was in very good shape. We paid the man loaded up the wagon and headed towards home. About two hours away my 05 f-350 diesel pulling the thirty foot gooseneck shot craps, EGR cooler went out. So we unloaded the 61 loaded up the 05 and my buddy came down and pulled the truck and trailer home. The 05 is in the shop now and the 61 hasn't made it home yet, sounds like another road trip.

That's a good looking Truck. Too bad you could have not pulled the 05 back with it! I have had mine for 18 years and only have seen one other on the road.

What did you give for it? You could PM me if you do not want that info on the interwebs.

Is your truck under factory warranty? Make shoure they fix the cause of the failed EGR cooler and not just replace the EGR cooler.

15,000 pounds would have been quite a load for the old 61 haha. PM is on it's way as soon as I can figure out how. Dad or I have never seen another either that is why we bought it, it will look good in the 4x4 collection, we have a 59 f-100 4x4 short wide, 71 4x4 3/4 ton, and a 79 4x4 3/3 ton
