Im wanting to remove my smog pump on my 94 f150. It is brand new but makes a chirping noise. Does anyone know the belt number to bypass it? I know I can measure it but I figured if someone has already found the right one it would be better than trial and error.
I already told you in another thread, it's a 6PK2195 (2195 being the lenght in milimeters), so around 86.5 inches long should be your size. That if you haven't modified other pulleys. To bypass temporarily, just take out the pulley from the smog pump and place the new belt. A more complete procedure was describe at my thread in the Big Bronco chapter.
All the above refers to the 302 V8 (will probably be the same on the 351w).
Well, there he haves it then, add 2-3" if the engine is a 351w, thx for the correction.
I'm curious, what are the dyno readings on your F150 Conanski? those mods you have are the same i want, except the flowtech (i haven't researched on exhaust parts yet). I want mostly more torque and some gains in HP (nothing that will hurt reliability).
