Basically it helps keep the air out of the fuel.. which is not good for your injectors.. Some say it makes the engine run quieter.. See the following link.. and click on "Engine, ....."

It one was of the best mods I did. Got rid of the engine injector cackle caused by air rated fuel, and made the throttle a bit more responsive.
