Hey everyone this is what I would like too do I have a 1967 F-100 4X4 with a 390 it has a 4 spd in it right now what I would like is too put in a C6 that I got from a pull and save I will be rebuilding the trans if I can do this.I do have the transfercase that went with the C6 too.And I do have the the bracket that went with it.Would this work Idont see any trouble in doing this but has anyone done this?And if so what did they do and what was needed?

C6s were made with many bolt patterns on the bellhousing. Did you get one that will bolt to a 390? This trans could be had with a small block, FE, big block, or diesel bolt pattern. They are not interchangeable.
