Hello all, this question probably as been posted before but I can't located with the search feature anyways I have 1975 ford f150 v8 360 2wd a/t and the problem I am having is when I turn on the defroster it fogs up the windshield the driver and passenger windows and rear window you could also see in the air inside the cab fog what could be causing this at one point the the heater wasn't blowing out hot air I notice that the 2 hoses on the engine was cut and was just being loop not going to the heater core so I fixed that and hot air started to blow again but now I'm having the problem with foggy windows any help will do.
it sounds to me like someone disconnected the heater core . thats what people do to the heater hoses when the heater core is leaking. i bet that was the problem, and when you hooked the heater hoses back up to the heater core, it started to leak again. if the floor in the passenger side of the truck is wet, thats a good indication you have a leaking heater core. it will also smell like anti freeze inside the truck. some times if you look up under the dash at the heater box you will see a small drop of coolant too.
