haha i like that plan alot i think i might just have to do that, that would take care of alot, but i still dont think you ever gave me an answer?

ok, so whats the question?


Cut and turn your Cs. Easy concept....PITA work.


cut welds between tube and Cs.

HEAT!

BEAT!

HEAT!

adjust to proper angle for your amount of lift

weld.

enjoy.


Its also necessary to down about 18 beer during this process. I dunno, maybe more.


I think its also important to move both Cs the same degree. Things might get interesting if you dont.

Like I've told you before, it will be a lot of work. Don't expect to move the inner c's quickly and be done with it. If you don't have them both the same degree when it's all done you will be in for a wild ride. This is not something you want to tackle by yourself as an amature. Hope your welding skills are up to par cause you'll need them!

when i fab up the d60 for the coil springs it doesnt matter what size i use, if i use stock ones, and when i put on my 44s, its not going to throw anything off correct? and yes i would defiantly say my welding skills are up to par, but i dont truck my self on getting them back true with the axle tubes so im going to let the professional do it for my safety, since i wanna drive it on the road quite a bit.

Didn't you just ask that question in another one of your 8 thousand threads? Tire size has no effect on suspension geometry.

This guy had better have his crap together, he could easily turn your expensive axle into a piece of junk. Someone that knows what they are doing and what they are getting into would laugh at $400 for that job. Have you mocked the axle up yet ? Your going to have to get a custom shaft made up anyways & any good shop can get one made up to run most any angle. With 13" of lift I don't think I'd go through with this if a shaft could be made up for it. I'd get it in there and see what angle you have, then talk to a drive shaft builder and go from there.

he really does, he builds 4x4s for a living. hes not some backyard welder/fab guy, buildin these trucks is what he does for a living. o and sorry guys i dont know computer slang? any chance i could get a cheat sheet, for all the slag words on here, haha im kidding ill just stick around long enough to where someday i will get it.
