Ken, I already got a rate reduction from my credit card company, the gal there could empathize with me as she just replaced her engine for $7K.
Once I am briefed on the final tally, I hope the credit card company will still be as understanding when I contact the next rep for a limit increase.
When I was in last Saturday on the pretext of picking it up, since the service manager said it would be ready by the end of the month, I brought in a copy of my credit card statement showing how little room I have left after the rental charges have been stacking up - and - with the wholesale chopping of credit limits.
I said the the service writer for him to speak with the service manager and start arranging financing through the dealership, and not Ford credit, at an almost zero interest rate and say $50 - $100 a month payment till I get this all under control.
Is there a thread somewhere that I can read that explains what is being done to your van? Sorry for being a newb.
Nope, sorry Brendon, its just scattered through the months of Chats going back to last Autumn iirc.
In summary:
8x6.5" bolt pattern 19.5" rims with 35.4" tires.
ARB lockers front & rear (no compressor at this time)
5.13 gears and 35-spline rear axle
Bilstien shocks, plus new steering stabilizer shocks.
Body work to suit.
Polyurethane bushings all around (they 'forgot' and I want my van back last January already!)
Other miscellaneous things like fix the dead trailer wiring harness, upgrade to a power antenna, weld in a bung for the turbo pyro probe, I forgot what else its been so long.
The van was already lifted 4" when the 4x4 conversion was done.
