Code P0340 Camshaft position sensor

The wife called & said the check engine light came on. Had her swing by the parts store and they told her it was a code P0340. After researching and finding out exactly what it is, I am wondering if I should have her park the truck & drive the Bronco until I get home from work in 2 weeks?

A bit more info would be helpful. Is it a diesel?

It is a V-10. I talked to the wife some more and she said the light did not come on again the rest of the day.

Then you are likely fine to drive it. The only risk is the sensor up and fails and she is stuck where it does.
