I think this is the best choice:

Red-Head Steering Gears

X2 on RedHead, however I did mine with a lifetime Cardone reman unit from Advance auto with lifetime warranty... it fixed my steering problems and if it goes bad I just get a replacement from auto parts store and its a regular stocking item. I think I paid about $180. i think red head is over $500 and you got to ship the core back...

Red-Head is what everyone will say. A year ago mine was $324 after I got my core deposit back. Worth every penny.

Couldn't be too bad. I just had a set of rear rotors and brake pads shipped to me from Jersey and it only cost me $22 bucks.

Red Head is not the only way to go, it is the right way to go. The things that make Red Head more expensive is that each gear is hand built by one person from start to finish to closer tolerances using higher quality parts. I suggest you call them. It is a real education.

Cardone is the same type of process as the OEM gear.......assembly line.

Believe me, it is worth the extra $ for the Red Head. You will not be dissapointed.

They ship USPS. Cost me $15 to ship the core from MD to WA (3,000+ miles) using the USPS flat rate.
