I see 2 problems here. I would say to replace your CPS as the others have said but also make sure that your batteries are fully charged. Your IDM needs to see a minimum of 10.5 volts in order to fire the injectors repeated cranking along with the glowplugs will drain a battery quick.
+1
I'd also make sure that your alternator is charging properly too. Remember to replace both batteries at one time, not just one...

I was thinking the same Jim..... except for the fact that the first time it died he was running for about 15 mins... then it died. Alternator not charging them ?????? I still think its the CPS. but I would look at the bats and alt as well.
I changed the CPS out and it's running good; started right up, idled well, revved well, etc. I'll be taking it out for a good drive in a while to really test it.
And I'll check the charging system just to be sure.
So glad you found the problem. I will repeat though. My truck ran fine on dry and sunny days. If it rained and I went through a lot of water, the truck would shut down. Water getting pasted the CPS seals will shut er' down (which happened the first time when the wife was driving it) I thought that she was nuts for being upset at my 'baby', because she just did not 'understand' her..... Then it happened to me going 70 mph..... OMG......
Hello, I'm new here, but I didn't see anyone mention in this thread that there was a recall on those CPS's. That is the first place to look, and sometimes when one sensor is bad, it will throw other codes during your crank and no-start experience. IDM and PCM relays can also cause intermittent no-starts, just for future reference.

You can put some dielectric grease inside the connector....Last time i got some at Advance it was in like a cheese whiz type spray can...Makes it super easy....That will fix that problem.....

We for the most part ignore the recalls, we have found purchasing through the international dealer better luck. Also, some of us are afraid of the dealer trying to flash us with the newest OEM software upgrades to our trucks.
