Your the man!
I am very happy NOT to be in your shoes right now, as I have a hard enough time putting 9 words together. 900 or 9000 might as well be 9 million, to me.

DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a pro autobody kinda guy. What I know of paint systems can be writen in large letters on a postage stamp. Actually, I dislike painting now: but I am good with a brush or gun, so what's a guy to do?

I do favor the duracryl Acr. Lacq. though. One word, "Repairable". The trick, or hard part, is going from an original enamel to a Lacq.

For grins, I tried outlining just the Duracryl "acrylic lacquer" system. There has to be 10 -50 variations on each of the 10 - 50 steps...and this is just one system of what? hundreds?

I gave up on my outline: the footnotes took over and out-worded the text.

Maybe you'll get some forum store dicount coupons for you epic undertaking, eh?

Don't forget the "Guide coat", stylesider

Would be nicebut not required or expected. I love helping people. If somebody hadnt taken the time to teach me, I wouldnt know what i know, or be in theposition im in now, I'd still be driving up and down the highways, holding a steering wheel. Not that there is anything wrong with driving a truck, I love it..just...no life, I missed a big part of my daughters life hauling freight, as it is now, I get to create neat things, Fix stuff, and be home each night.

Im trying to keep the outline to the basic steps, preClean, Primer, what the coat should look like while spraying it, Flash time (or what you should look for cause flash time varies with temp and coat thickness), guide Coat, Sanding steps, PreClean, Paint and how the coat should look, Flash time and dry time between paint and clear, Tack Raging it, Spraying the clear, and how the coat should look, between coat times..

Was thinking about doing a thing on color sanding as well. We are fixing to paint a 90 Supra and im sure it'll have some dirt in it, Thats just part of painting.
