Hi guy's. I just moved up in the world by trading my 2008 Tundra for a Real Truck. 2009 F 250, Powerstroke. Nice upgrade. I cant seem to find if my truck has a compass and a exterior temprature readout. My truck is pretty well decked out with options but I am begining to think I am missing these two items . Any help ?
If you truck has the optional message center you will have a compass. Refer to the Driver Controls section of your users manual for more details. If you don't have the users manual it can be downloaded in PDF format from the following site.
I don't think outside temperature is available, however I might be wrong. I'm not all that familiar with the decked-out models.
on our 2008 Lariat 250 there is a button listed EXT underneath the LCD temperature display. That willdisplay the exterior temp. Click it again and it will go back to cab temp.
The Toyota was OK but is only a light 1/2 ton. And horrible fuel economy. I found out my SD did not come with the exterior temp or compass. I installed one that I bought , located in the rear view mirror, like a Chevy truck. It works great , although Ford located the Blue tooth mic in the OEM mirror ****, Now I have to deal with that. LOL.
