I am going to put hydrualic steering into my truck and would like to know the cheapest and simplest way to get this done. Any help would be nice or if you can guide me somewhere that will help me out. Thanx.
I am actually looking at doing this for my truck to help with the steering wander and better control in the snow and mud.
You basically send your steering box to this place in Texas and they clean, port and thread your box to accept the new lines, then you need to come up with the ram, custom fab some lines and you are done. It doesn't look to hard, I just need to get on it. The place in Texas charges around $150 for their work, then you can by the ram at any farm implement supplier fairly cheap, don't know about the lines. Let me know how it turns out and what you think if you go that way.
