Question 99 350 ebpv

Ok, so now i know why my truck sounds like a fighter jet when its warming up. The ebpv, from what iam told, needs the engine oil to be around 130 degrees before the jet sound goes away. What I dont understand is....if the ebpv basically works on temperature.....Why then , when i tap on the brake pedal, does the jet sound stop? It starts back again , but iam just wondering what the brake has to do with any part of it? Any suggestions guys?

The reason the jet shuts down if you hit the brakes is because the PCM doesn't want you to put the truck in gear while it is idled up and the EBPV closed.
