We manage to go almost 4 years and never have a single issue with anybody damaging the Navigator, and have only made it 3 weeks with this Excursion before the neighbor backs into it.
I'm more than just a bit irritated-it's the biggest darn SUV ever built, and her comment was that she just didn't see it.....
At least they're being decent about it-she's already called in the claim to the insurance company(we actually use the same insurance company), and I've already got a claim number and am just waiting on the adjuster to call me to schedule the meeting for pictures, etc, etc.
Hit by a rock that cracked the NEW windshield on the way to Colorado for the ski trip last week, and now this....

No State Farm here. Been there, done that-couldn't hold a gun to my head and make me use them again.

After they screwed so many people out of money after Katrina here in Mississippi, the insurance commish put the screws to them and now they will not write home insurance for the whole state. lol
Many people that I know dropped them after that even on auto insurance.
Ummmm.......something is not right. That car should be in more pieces if it hit your Ex that hard! You should have them replace the whole quarter panel if the repair shop gives you that option, Unless the pic is making it look worse than it is. If it were mine, I wouldnt want filler on my truck because of some neighbor.

Yeah, it's getting an entire quarter panel-nothing else is acceptable. They're gonna look at it today and get the "official" estimate, then the adjuster will be meeting with me to look it over and pick up the estimate. It's not terrible, just looks like crap. Her car is surprisingly in good shape. She hit it backing out of her driveway at an angle and busted the tail light, popped loose the rear bumper cover and I'm sure bent the quarter panel and inner bumper braces, etc. Neither one looks to be too bad-I just wish she would have hit a "bolt on" body panel instead of a "fixed" panel.
